JENKINS ARCHIVE: Original Drawing: SCP
From the Jenkins Archives: Original Drawing: Scott Clark Products, 1984
Origin; "I was in the Wizard Publications warehouse showing Oz and Steve Giberson my art school portfolio (long story for another time). it was late 1983, I was 19, gobsmacked, super green, and very nervous. We were looking at, believe it or not, a mocked-up BMX Action subscription ad I'd made in art school. It featured a photo I'd shot of a pro main. Scott Clark blasting out of a first turn with about 10, now iconic, pro racers behind him. Next thing I knew, people were gathering to checking out my presentation.
"That's me!". Scott Clark. It couldn't get any more surreal for me.
Scott was living with R.L. Osborn at the time, and tossing around the idea of starting his own apparel brand, Scott Clark Products (SCP). He asked me to make a tee graphic for him. I can't recall if it was actually produced, or wether Clark ever got SCP going." - Andy Jenkins
